How I work

How an engagement runs, from the first call to handover.

Three steps. You decide after the first one, and you can stop after any of them.

The three steps

Most people arrive wanting the build and find they needed the plan first. That is the cheapest discovery there is.

  1. 1

    A 30-minute call

You describe the work that takes up your week: who does it, what they type, and which systems it touches.

    • Where your time actually goes
    • Whether AI fits it, or a simpler fix does
    • A clear next step, even when it is not with me
  2. 2

    A written plan

What to automate, what to leave alone, what it connects to, and when it is ready. In plain language, so you can hold the result against it.

    • The work to automate, starting with what saves the most time
    • The tools it needs, including ones you already pay for
    • What the build involves, and how long it takes
  3. 3

    I build it

The assistant, the automation or the link between your systems, built and tested on your real work. Then I hand it over.

    • Tested on your real work
    • I show your team how to use it
    • Notes for whoever runs it next, and nothing that depends on me

What I build

Small, shipped, and yours.

  • Customer assistants

On your website or WhatsApp, answering in Arabic, English or Turkish, and passing the hard questions to a person.

  • Workflow automation

For the work your team retypes, chases, or has to remember to send.

  • Systems that talk to each other

So one customer, one order and one number live in one place.

  • Private AI on your own servers

When your data is not allowed to leave the country.

Before we start

What I need from you, and what the work does not cover.

From you

  • Time with the people who do the work
  • A look at the systems you already use
  • Someone who can decide
  • Accounts in your business’s name, where the data is processed

Not included

  • Software licences and running costs, which are listed in the plan
  • Support after handover, which is agreed separately if you want it
  • Work outside the written plan, which is quoted before it starts

Where digital transformation actually starts

Five stages, one at a time.

Digital transformation has been stretched until it means everything, so here is the version I use. An operation moves up five stages, one at a time: Manual, Digitised, Connected, Automated, Intelligent.

Most expensive failures come from skipping one. A business at stage 01 buys an AI product built for stage 03 because someone saw a demo. The product works as advertised and delivers nothing, because the data it needs still sits in four systems that disagree.

Past stage 03 the returns shrink and the requirements get harder. Most small businesses should stop there, and I will tell you when you have reached it.

Frequently asked questions

Cost, timing, and what happens first.

What does it cost?

The first call is free. After that it depends on the work, and I quote once I know what the work is, not before. If the answer is that you do not need me, I will say so.

How long does it take?

Working out the plan is usually a matter of weeks, not months. A build takes as long as the build, and I would rather quote one narrow thing that ships than a wide thing that does not.

We have already chosen a software vendor. Is it too late to talk?

No. Before you sign, there is time to check what you need against what is being sold. After you sign, the work is making it earn its licence, which is still worth doing.

What do you need from us to start?

Nothing prepared. Time with the people who do the work, a look at the systems you already use, and someone who can decide.

Do you work with businesses outside Saudi Arabia?

Yes. The work runs remotely. I have worked inside companies in Türkiye, the UAE, Syria and Saudi Arabia, and my own products reach users in North America.

Do we need AI at all?

Often not. Much of what gets called an AI problem is systems that do not talk to each other, or a process nobody has written down. Fixing that is cheaper, and it is what I will recommend when it is true.
